The exceptional team at Bandeen Orthodontics of Battle Creek

Amanda brings with her years of Dental Assisting experience and a bright and cheerful attitude. Amanda spends most of her time here as a clinical orthodontic assistant, although she is also our point person for clinical supplies. Management of supplies is no small task in a busy orthodontic practice. She has been with us since early 2011. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter. If there is a rock concert in the area, she will be there…although she has been caught singing the words to some country music in our office too!

Karla has been with our office since January of 2013. She had many years of experience in orthodontics before joining our team. She is one of the smiling people you will see first, when you come to our office. She is our “treatment coordinator” which means that she will help you understand your orthodontic treatment options and will help you move forward with the process. Karla is also our connection to our local restaurant scene – she and her husband know the food business. They are typically the ones who cater for our in-office educational events that we have hosted for our dental colleagues, and they always receive rave reviews. Karla has two kids and lives with her husband in Marshall, Michigan.

Cindy lives with her husband and kids in Marshall. She has been with us since the summer of 2014. In addition to being a one of our Scheduling and Financial Coordinators, Cindy is also our Insignia Coordinator “go to” person. As the Insignia Coordinator she will help you oversee your custom-treatment process so that the doctors can establish your treatment plans with the aid of three dimensional computer modeling.  She has a LOT of previous orthodontic experience, and also has an extremely positive, go-to-it attitude. She can sing Journey’s entire Greatest Hits album from memory (and makes up the dance moves as she goes along). She is a huge University of Michigan fan and can talk sports better than anyone else in the office. She is an important member of our reception team, and she is currently lobbying for installation of a basketball hoop in our parking lot.

Kim joined our fabulous team early in 2015. Kim graduated from Kellogg Community College as a Registered Dental Hygienist at the top of her class. She enjoys kayaking, outdoor adventures, and shopping. Kim’s peppy personality makes her a great addition to our team. You will see her beautiful smile helping out everywhere around the clinic.

Samantha started with us as an intern and was so amazing that she was quickly offered a position.  She officially started working with Bandeen Orthodontics in 2016 after she finished a 9 month program at Ross medical.  Samantha enjoys being outdoors. If she’s not quad-riding then she’s kayaking and spending time with her family.  Samantha also loves traveling and exploring new places.  Samantha is almost always smiling, and her calm demeanor puts patients at ease.

Hannah joined our team in August of 2016. Prior to becoming one of our team, she had the opportunity to work with other orthodontic offices around the country. She is our “Invisalign Coordinator” which means that she oversees the process of your Invisalign treatment to make sure that your care goes as smooth as possible. She is married with two fantastic young children and lives in Battle Creek. She is very often seen bouncing around the office (literally)… while singing and dancing!

Tara is a wife and a mother of two beautiful girls. She thoroughly enjoys spending time with her family any way she can. Wether it’s helping coach her oldest daughter’s soccer team, going to the park, or cuddling up in front of the TV for movies, Tara enjoys it all. Aside from being mommy, she loves playing and watching sports with her husband and cheering on the Detroit Lions. It’s safe to say her family is her world, which since May of 2018 now includes her Bandeen family.

Tehanne joined the team in April 2018. She has many years of dental experience and patient care. Tehanne currently lives in Athens with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs. She loves to travel, hang out with friends, listen to music and get crafty every once in a while. Tehanne has been huge asset and all of us here at Bandeen Orthodontics are happy to have her!

Patti started with us in Feb of 2011 and left in the summer of 2014 for sabbatical to study with the great eagle hunting tribes of Mongolia. 
She returned to us in late 2017 with a new perspective on indoor plumbing and fashion. She and her husband enjoy hiking, gardening and moving around a lot. They have 6 children and 6 grandchildren. Upon arrival at the front desk you will find Patti’s bright smile and helpful nature ready to assist with all aspects of patient care.

Diana joined Bandeen Orthodontics in December 2018. She and her family moved here from Mexico after her husband was transferred to Battle Creek for work. Diane was a practicing Orthodontist in Mexico and currently is in the process of obtaining her license in the United States. Diana not only brings to the office her passion for orthodontics but her exuberant smile and contagious happy attitude.

Teyonna is a wife and mother of two girls. She is a life long resident of Battle Creek and has a strong base in faith where she is a part of her church’s praise team. Teyonna joined the Bandeen team in August 2019, and is so excited to share her enthusiasm for patient care and beautiful smiles.

Ashley, a life long resident of Battle Creek, Michigan is a wife and mother. A quick learner, she excels with patient care. She is one of the faces that you will see when entering the office. Ashley is always smiling and willing to help where needed. Outside Bandeen Orthodontics, Ashely enjoys volunteering at her daughters school, camping, and supporting her firefighter husband.
