When patients learn that our orthodontic office has a sleep technologist onsite to diagnose and treat sleep apnea, we’re usually met with a lot of questions. Yes. We will send you home with a sleep test to check for sleep apnea. You do not have to go to a sleep-lab or sleep-clinic for your testing.

Yes! Depending on the scores of your sleep testing, we can treat with oral appliance therapy using our B-fit or we can help get you into a CPAP.

After wearing the appliance for one week we will have you take home a sleep test to verify your sleep apnea has been treated.

Yes! Many medical insurers cover oral appliance therapy.

Medical insurance will be billed.

We will test the effectiveness of the oral appliance therapy. If combination therapy is needed, our registered sleep technologist will walk you through that.

If sleep apnea breathing episodes are between 5-15 episodes an hour or if you simply cannot tolerate your CPAP then you may qualify for B-fit to replace a CPAP.

Either denture cleaning tablets or toothbrush with a small amount of toothpaste can be used to clean B-fit.

Yes! B-fit snore can be used to treat snoring even if you don’t have sleep apnea.

Yes! We have an onsite registered sleep technologist that can answer any of your questions and score your at home sleep test.
