Case Study 4 – Orthodontic Class II
Treatment was with braces in the Damon System. Total treatment was about 22 months with braces & elastics without removal of any teeth and was done prior to the implementation of custom treatment protocols with Insignia.
Case Study 24 - Narrow Smiles
Treatment was with braces in the Damon System customized with Insignia. Her smile was broadened to create space to fix crowding and crossbites (upper teeth inside of the lower teeth).
Total treatment time was about 10 months with braces and elastics but was without removal of any teeth and was without a palatal expander.
Case Study 31 - Narrow Smiles
Treatment was with braces in the Damon System customized with Insignia. His smile was broadened to create space for his upper canines. Total treatment time was about 24 months with braces and elastics but was without removal of any teeth and was without a palatal expander.
Prior to orthodontic treatment, he wore a CPAP for sleeping due to sleep apnea. His sleep apnea had reduced enough from secondary to orthodontic expansion that he did not need to wear a CPAP after orthodontic treatment.
Case Study 49 - Crowding
This patient had crowding and misalignment such that his family reported that he was experiencing discomfort from frequently biting his lip. He had phase I treatment with braces. Treatment lasted about 7 months. He did not have any teeth removed, nor did he have a palatal expander.
